Off the Racing Line: riders' lives away from track

Presented by Dorna Sports, the first part of ‘Off the Racing Line’ takes us to Portugal and the county’s first-ever MotoGP™ rider: Miguel Oliveira.

The 20-minute documentary takes us to Almada, Portugal, where Oliveira’s journey to the pinnacle of motorcycle racing began. 19 years of hard work and dedication have passed since Oliveira’s father, Paulo, first bought the now-Red Bull KTM Tech 3 rider his first motorcycle, and we speak to Miguel, Paulo and the family in-depth about the 12-time Grand Prix race winner’s career so far. But Oliveira isn’t just your typical MotoGP™ rider, as we learn more about how he’s learning to become a dentist, in addition to the Oliveira Cup that he and Paulo have set up to try and help other young Portuguese riders to follow in the footsteps of Miguel.

‘Off the Racing Line’ follows several MotoGP™ riders’ lives away from the circuit as the fans can get to know some of their favourite stars as a person, not just the rider!
