We’ve arrived in Japan for the sixteenth round of the 2024 MotoGP™ season with a championship fight like no other, and you’ll get to experience it first-hand!
Don’t think that the action only happens on track, the Mobility Resort Motegi is presenting you with a wide array of activities all within the Fan Zone.
Find here the schedule and information about the programme for the weekend, from Fan Zone to Hero Walk to the Riders Fan Parade!
The Fan Zone
The Fan Zone is the meeting point for fans to get official merchandising products of the MotoGP™ riders and other commercial opportunities from the circuit, not to mention the Fan Zone Stage and big screens so you don’t miss the on-track action.
On Friday and Saturday, from 4:45 PM to 6:45 PM, riders from across all classes will be on the Fan Zone Stage for a Meet & Greet session, so be sure to be there to take pictures and signatures with your favourites, or even with home heroes such as Takaaki Nakagami and Ai Ogura!
Not only that, the Fan Zone will be the stage for the Motegi Night Live, a music festival headlined by various Japanese musical acts. Onthe same days, from 7:30 PM to 9 PM, you can enjoy the music on the circuit!
Hero Walk
The Hero Walk will allow riders to pass through a designated area on both Saturday and Sunday mornings to chat and take photos with the fans.
On Saturday the red carpet is for the Moto3™ and Moto2™ riders who will pass through from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM, while they pass it over to the MotoGP™ class on Sunday, from 10:20 AM to 10:40 AM.
Riders Fan Parade
Sunday begins with the Riders Fan Parade, an activity focused on riders and fans. This initiative will allow MotoGP™ riders to go around the track on a trailer to greet and cheer up the fans in attendance.
Along the route, the riders will stop in front of fan grandstands where they will be interviewed and give away gifts for you! Follow the parade from 10AM, before the Hero Walk.
Tissot Sprint Podium
Last year we saw the implementation of the soever thrilling Tissot Sprint races on Saturday afternoons. Just like in the main race, the top 3 celebrate their result on the podium, receiving their respective medals.
For this weekend in Motegi, the Tissot Sprint podium will take place on the old pit-lane, part of the oval circuit, just in front of the Main Straight. So make sure you’re there on time to celebrate with the MotoGP™ Top 3 following the end of the Tissot Sprint race!
Course Walk
The chequered flag on Sunday is your invitation to join the track! Join the MotoGP™ podium sitters in the final weekend celebrations on the Main Straight.
A long-time tradition in the sport, the track invasion is a special ending for both the riders and the fans to let the results sink in with cheers and applauses on top!
