A keen fitness fanatic, William de Angelis arrived in MotoGP via minibikes, the Honda 125 Trophy, the Gilera Trophy, the Italian Championship and the European Championship where he finished 6th. A shy young man of few words, he spends most of his time with his brother Alex, with whom he shares his passion for motorbikes - as well as his race experience and advice. William had an unlucky season last year, only managing to score a solitary point after a 15th place finish in Portugal.
