Fahrer-Geschichte

Ana Carrasco began riding a minibike at the age of three and was successful in the domestic junior motorcycle racing categories, before becoming the first woman to score points in the FIM CEV Repsol Championship in 2011. Carrasco made her Junior World Championship debut in 2012, scoring a best of 7th, before moving up to the Moto3™ World Championship in 2013. Carrasco became the first woman to score points in the category, before a couple of tricker years in 2014, 2015 and 2016. 2017 brought a new, exciting challenge in the form of the new WorldSSP300 series. A year later, in 2018, Carrasco created history by becoming the first woman to win a motorcycle World Championship. Finishing third in 2019, her 2020 season was ended early after Carrasco fracturing two thoracic vertebrae in a testing crash. 2021 saw Carrasco finish 16th in the WorldSSP300 Championship, and ahead of the 2022 season starting, she got a late call up to come back and race in the Moto3™ World Championship with BOE SKX. Carrasco put in a series of respectable performances and will remain with the BOE team for 2023.
