The 2015 Catalan GP was an amazing race as Jorge Lorenzo looked to make it four wins in a row as he tried to close the 5-point gap to his teammate Valentino Rossi at the top of the championship standings, while Marc Marquez needed a good result to get his championship defence back on track after DNF’s in Argentina and Mugello.

After completing a 1-2 the day clearly belonged to Yamaha so lets take a look back at just how they achieved that feat, hearing from Lorenzo and Rossi themselves as they describe their races.

Starting from second on the grid Maverick Viñales delighted the home fans and Suzuki as he recorded his best MotoGP™ result of his career at the time. Here from the man himself on how the race unfolded and the emotions he felt racing in front of his passionate home support.

For Marc Marquez the Catalan GP was a complete disaster. The Spaniard had to watch his hopes of defending his MotoGP™ title fade as he crashed out of the race while trying to match Lorenzo’s relentless pace at the front, recording his second DNF in a row and third of the season.
