The 2016 Dutch GP will be the 68th grand prix event held at the TT Circuit Assen, the only circuit to have been ever present on the World Championship calendar since its inaugural season in 1949. Over the years the tracks layout has changed considerably and it has born witness to some incredible racing.

Over the years Assen’s layout has changed drastically, so to celebrate its 68th GP we take a look back at how the circuit has evolved over this time from the original 1925 Tourist Trophy 28.57km street circuit to its current format
