Andrea Iannone (Ducati Team) topped the Ducati-dominated timesheets at the Red Bull Ring test in Spielberg, where most of the grid were in attendance – minus Repsol Honda Team pairing Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. The layout of the new venue seems a positive one for the Desmosedici GP, and the Italian is eager to convert his test pace into a race result.

The circuit is really nice and it adapts well to our Desmosedici GP. On this track I established a good feeling with my bike right from the start and this is a very positive aspect in view of the race.”
