Marquez: "We have a good rhythm"

Championship leader satisfied and race-ready despite P4 grid position

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) was quickest out the blocks on Saturday to top FP3, but found himself suffer a little later in the day with problems on his second run in Q2. Nevertheless securing a P4 start with his first effort, the championship leader has his tyre choice decided if conditions remain the same, and is satisfied with his race rhythm - expecting another podium fight on the Riviera di Rimini.

Marc Marquez (P4): "I'm happy about the day but the qualifying wasn't the best of the year. We lost the second tyre with the traffic and it cooled down too much, it was difficult to find the best grip. But about the race I'm happy, the feeling is good with the bike…we still need to fix some small things but it looks like we have a good rhythm, along with Jorge, Valentino and Dani. We're there. But, we'll see about tomorrow because it looks like it will be cooler temperatures. If it's warm like this I will go with the hard front and soft rear."
