Lorenzo: "I'll try to taste victory again!"

3-time MotoGP™ world champion looking for his third in a row in Aragon

Reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) is feeling more confident again ahead of MotorLand, as the Spaniard has won the last two Aragon GPs; one in the wet in 2014 and one last year in the dry in which he took off at the front on home turf and never looked back. After some more difficult races mid-season, the 'Spartan' was back on the podium in Misano, and will be looking to push further forward at MotorLand and become the first rider to take three victories at the track - and in a row. Although the Yamaha isn't quite as suited to the 5.1km layout of Aragon, Lorenzo got back on a level with setup in Misano and hopes to create some more momentum going into the flyways - part of the season that usually treats him well.

Jorge Lorenzo: "Despite the high expectations in Misano, we finally could come back to the podium after some bad races. In Misano we worked really well throughout the weekend but ultimately Dani and Vale were faster than us. At least we got another podium and we found the line regarding the setting with the bike. Now it‘s time to go to Aragón. This track never suits our bike perfectly but over the last years we were able to win several times so you never know, especially this season with the new tyres everything is challenging and tricky. I‘m eager to fight on home soil and I will try to taste victory again."
