Suppo pleased with 2017 testing so far

Repsol Honda Team Principal on the squad’s start to 2017

Repsol Honda Team Principal Livio Suppo says the first test of the season has been a positive one for the outfit, with race riders Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa taking over from test rider Hiroshi Aoyama as the first Official Test got underway. After the three days, Suppo says there is work still to be done – with the next test scheduled for Phillip Island on February 15-17th – but that initial contact is much improved on a tough 2016 preseason.

Livio Suppo, Team Principal: “There’s still a lot to do but it’s better than last year so we can be reasonably happy. It’s easy to take conclusions now but at the end of the test engineers need time to evaluate all the data and we still have several days of testing. Electronics, set up – because a different engine may need a different setup. But we’re pleased and working properly.”
