Iannone looking for redemption in Argentina

…after a crash out of podium contention in Qatar

Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar) was well in the fight for the podium first time out in Qatar as he settles into life in blue, but the Italian then just caught the back of Marc Marquez’s (Repsol Honda Team) bike and slid out of contention.

Argentina is next up, with the ‘Maniac’ looking for redemption at a track he thinks will suit the Suzuki – technical and fast, with track conditions and grip levels the only doubt.

Andrea Iannone: “I’m truly happy to get to the second race of the season. I don't want to hide that I want to redeem myself after the disappointment in Qatar. I think Argentina can be a favourable track for us and I like it very much. It’s technical and fast, and I like this. I hope the track conditions will be good. Usually it has a lot of dirt and takes some time to develop a good grip. I hope this year it will be better.”
