Dovizioso: Jerez “one of the toughest for me and Ducati"

Ducati rider unsure what to expect from the #SpanishGP

Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) had a stunner of a season opener in the Qatar GP, but some bad luck in Argentina and trouble in Texas has seen the Italian arrive to the European season dissatisfied with the season so far on balance – although man and machine are working hard to change it.

Despite having tested at Jerez alongside teammate Jorge Lorenzo earlier this season, ‘DesmoDovi’ remains a little unsure as to what to expect in the Spanish GP – but is aiming to fight for the podium as the paddock gets back onto European soil.

Andrea Dovizioso: “Finally we are back in Europe and even though we did a one-day test at this circuit one month ago, I don’t exactly know what to expect from the Jerez race. Our balance sheet after the first three rounds of the season is not satisfactory enough because we thought we would be quicker this year, but with the exception of the Qatar race, it hasn’t been like this so far. At any rate, we are all working to change the situation and although the Jerez track is one of the toughest for me and Ducati, I will be fighting hard in Spain to try and get back onto the podium.”
