Moto3™ back on track to test at Le Mans

One day official test for the lightweight runners in France

After another classic contest at Le Mans, the Moto3™ field got back on track on Monday for a one day Official Test, with Peugeot MC Saxoprint, AGR Team, CIP, SIC58 Squadra Corse, British Talent Team and RBA BOE Racing Team all back on track.

Öhlins brought updates for the lightweight field to test, but whereas the Moto2™ field had new tyres from Dunlop to trial, the Moto3™ runners focused elsewhere with the same rubber as used in-season so far.

British Talent Team rider John McPhee was concentrating on front end geometry as he aims to get back in the fight for the podium in Mugello, with new front forks another focus for the Brno 2016 winner. Maria Herrera (AGR Team) had a different focus, with the Spaniard testing a fairing on her KTM and experimenting with settings.

From Mahindra, Jakub Kornfeil and Patrik Pulkkinen (Peugeot MC Saxoprint) were testing a new airbox after the Indian manufacturer’s positive weekend at Le Mans in one of the biggest updates brought to the test, with Marco Bezzechi (CIP), also on Mahindra machinery, working on the new suspension and the chassis.

SIC58 Squadra Corse riders Tony Arbolino and Tatsuki Suzuki focused on getting ready for the next race: Mugello, in the stunning Tuscan countryside, and the new team’s first home GP of the year.
