Lorenzo: “I’m sure we’ll make a big step forward”

Back on track at a happy hunting ground for the five-time World Champion

Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team) didn’t take too much of a holiday in the summer break, instead straight back into training hard to prepare for the second half of the season. With some more difficult races this year with Ducati but some highlights to boot – including a first podium at Jerez – the Majorcan is now eyeing a big step forward as the engines fire up at Brno.

The track has seen a lot of success for the ‘Spartan’ throughout the classes, including his most recent win at the venue in 2015 – a lights-to-flag signature MotoGP™ masterpiece.

Jorge Lorenzo: “We’ve reached the half-way point of the season and after a few days vacation immediately after the German GP, I have been training hard the last three weeks to prepare for the second part of the Championship. Brno is a circuit where I feel really good and I think I can get a good performance out of my bike. It’s a track with lots of corners, all linked together, and I’ve got a lot of good memories here. I can’t wait to get back to working with my team to boost my competitiveness in the last nine rounds of the championship, and I’m sure we’ll make a big step forward.”
