Pedrosa on Silverstone: "Last year was difficult..."

Repsol Honda rider looking to keep his incredible 2017 run going and improve on a tough British GP last season

Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team) had a difficult race at Silverstone in 2016, but the number 26 is on a good roll this season and will be aiming to make this year a different story. With seven podiums from his last nine starts, Pedrosa is enjoying a rich vein of form and intends to stay as focused as possible to keep that going.

Although he's not yet won at the venue, the 'Baby Samurai' does hold the race lap record at Silverstone - he set it in 2013 on the way to one of his two previous MotoGP™ podiums at the track.

Dani Pedrosa: "The team is working well, in Austria we overturned a difficult weekend to get a positive result in the race. Now we go to a difficult track which is bumpy and where the weather is always unstable! We’ll be aiming to improve and be focused because last year was difficult, so we must be out lapping and learning about the tyres and the setup to be prepared for Sunday’s race."
