Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, UK, has begun works that will see the entire GP circuit resurfaced by the end of February. With some riders on the grid finding the venue increasingly bumpy, the resurfacing is fantastic news for MotoGP™.
It was announced in November that the track will continue as the host circuit for MotoGP™ from 2018 to 2020, with the field to get their first taste of the new track surface from the 24th to 26th of August in the British Grand Prix. The British Talent Cup will also race at the venue this year, and will be another key draw as part of that MotoGP™ race weekend.
