After the stunning first Grand Prix of the season in Qatar, a few of the premier class teams are now back on track in Andalusia for testing at the Circuito de Jerez. First of those were the Repsol Honda Team of Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, with the duo working on Monday to prepare for the first race of the European leg of the season, which takes place at the venue in May. Repsol Honda were also one of few teams absent from the private Jerez test in November, having elected to use those days at a different time.
Teams are allowed to use five days for ‘extra’ in-season testing – three days at a track not yet raced during the season and two at a venue that has already hosted its MotoGP™ event for the year.

After Marquez and Pedrosa on Monday, Aprilia are expected to pit out on Tuesday – as well as Alma Pramac Racing. In addition, Honda test rider Stefan Bradl is also expected to continue testing for the Japanese marque at the venue, with the packed calendar of European races soon arriving on the horizon.
