Ahead of his home Grand Prix at Silverstone, it has been confirmed that Sam Lowes will rejoin Gresini Racing in Moto2™ for the 2019 season.

The British rider joined the Gresini setup in 2016 after spending his first two intermediate class seasons with Speed Up Racing, going on to claim six podium finishes that season, including two wins in Jerez and Aragon.

This year, Lowes returned to Moto2™ with Swiss Innovative Investors on board a KTM chassis after a year with Aprilia in the premier class, however the 27-year-old will now reunite with Gresini as he aims to mount a title challenge in 2019.
