Darryn Binder and the CIP – Green Power team have today confirmed they will join forces next season in the Moto3™ class as he partners British rider Tom Booth-Amos in 2019.
The 20-year-old South African has been competing in the Moto3™ World Championship for four years, with his maiden podium coming at this year’s Japanese GP. For 2019, Binder will remain on KTM machinery as aims to follow in the footsteps of his brother Brad Binder, who claimed the Moto3™ Championship in 2016.
Darryn Binder: “I am so excited to have signed with Alain and the CIP-Green Power Team. After a difficult season I am looking forward to be fighting with the boys up front and giving it my all. I want to thank Alain and all my sponsors for their continued support moving into 2019.”
Alain Bronec – Team owner: “Darryn is a promising rider and we are very happy that he will join us for the 2019 season. He already has some experience with a KTM bike and he is talented: we are confident that he will be a key player of the next season.”
