Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) has started the final day of testing before the winter break as the quickest rider on track in Jerez, setting the day’s fastest time so far – a 1:38.452 on his fifth lap of his 18 so far. Danio Petrucci (Ducati Team) – Wednesday’s pacesetter – currently sits in P2, 0.361 off Marquez’ time, with Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) P3 on the timesheets at 13:00 local time (GMT +1) – 0.466 off the top.

Today is the last time the premier class riders will be on board their MotoGP™ machines before the winter break, with every team testing new parts - including Petrucci and teammate Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) testing a new rear seat unit. Meanwhile, Jack Miller (Alma Pramac Racing) was one of the first riders to head out on track this morning, the Australian sits fourth fastest – 0.006 behind Rins – while rookie Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) jumped up to fifth on his 23rd lap to sit just 0.609 off Marquez.
