Mir sits top halfway through final day in Qatar

It’s a Team Suzuki Ecstar 1-2 with three hours remaining at the Qatar Test

Rookie Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) currently leads the way on the final day of 2019 preseason testing, his 1:55.321 putting him 0.071 clear of teammate Alex Rins as the Hamamatsu factory duo lead the way on Day 3 of the Qatar Test.

Decision time at the Qatar Test

Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) is third fastest with a 1:55.402, 0.081 from Mir currently, with Day 1’s fastest rider Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) fourth on the timesheets with just under three hours remaining.

Andrea Dovizioso (Mission Winnow Ducati) is the leading Desmosedici rider in fifth place, 0.376 splits him from Mir, with Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SIC) and Francesco Bagnaia (Alma Pramac Racing) making it three rookies in the top seven as things stand on the final day at the Losail International Circuit.
