Iannone declared fit for Le Mans

The Italian has recovered from a crash during FP4 at the Spanish GP

Aprilia Racing Team Gresini’s Andrea Iannone has passed a medical test at Le Mans this afternoon meaning the Italian will be back in action at the Shark Helmets Grand Prix de France after missing the Spanish GP two weeks ago.

The factory Aprilia man crashed out heavily during FP4 at Jerez and injured his left ankle, causing him to miss Sunday’s race and Monday’s official test at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto.

The Maniac isn’t the only man to have been passed fit ahead of the French GP with ONEXOX TKKR SAG’s Remy Gardner also getting the go-ahead after recovering from the concussion he suffered during the dramatic opening lap of the Spanish GP. Sama Qatar Angel Nieto’s Jake Dixon is back in action too, after missing Jerez all together due to suffering a serious knock to the head during Free Practice at Austin.

Plus, Dynavolt Intact GP’s Marcel Schrötter will also be present after breaking two metatarsals in his left foot prior to the Spanish GP. The German then had surgery on his foot, following a test at Aragon, in Barcelona to rectify the issue on May 10.

And in the Moto3™ paddock, Raul Fernandez (Sama Qatar Angel Nieto) is fighting fit following his collision with Sergio Garcia (Estrella Galicia 0,0) at Pedrosa Corner with four laps remaining of the Spanish GP.
