VNE Snipers' Tony Arbolino will remain with the Italian squad for the 2020 Moto3™ World Championship after signing a twelve-month contract extension at the Sachsenring on Saturday night. Arbolino is the only two-time Grand Prix winner of the 2019 lightweight series after a debut victory on home soil at Mugello earlier in the year before backing it up with a second win last time out at the Dutch TT.

The 18-year-old will be planning a tilt at the 2020 Moto3™ World Championship by remaining in the class and, even at this early stage, will surely be one of the favourites for the title.
Tony Arbolino: "I decided to do another year here as I feel I can still grow up even if, this year, we are already fighting to win. We could reach a fantastic result even this year but I am sure it's important to do another year in Moto3 for arriving 100% prepared in Moto2. Now we need to keep the focus to finish this season at the best".
Stefano Bedon: "Mirko, Giancarlo, me and all the Snipers are really happy to have renewed the agreement with Tony Arbolino. Not only because he's a professional but even because he's a guy loved by everyone and that gives harmony to the team. These are the right conditions for getting the result and, with him, we would like to bring the title of Moto3 back in Italy, after 15 year of abstinence".
