Are you ready for the next phase? Welcome to the Pro Draft!

After six intense Online Challenges, the second stage of the 2019 MotoGP™ eSport Championship is here

After six intense Online Challenges, the second stage of the 2019 MotoGP™ eSport Championship is here, with the Pro Draft presenting further tests for the best gamers on the planet.

A total of 72 players have qualified for the Pro Draft, which is divided into two world regions: European countries and the Rest of the World. Each gamer has to compete with the platform with which it has been classified (PS4, Xbox One or PC).

The selection for riders from the Rest of the World will run from August 1-4, while the European version starts on August 8 and goes until the 11th of that month. Gamers must master a certain track in certain conditions in time attack mode. But instead of one flying lap, the time is set from a run of three laps.

The quickest nine from Europe, comprising of three from each console, and the fastest three from the Rest of the World, one per console, will then qualify for the Global Series, a six-race Championship that will be held at three different locations visited by the MotoGP™ World Championship. But before that, one last step will be held: The Final Draft.

On August 15-18, riders will have to master the cool nighttime conditions of the Losail International Circuit in Qatar to secure their place in a MotoGP™ team.

In a new feature for 2019, once the 12 riders have been selected, one last challenge, held on PC, will take place in order to determine which MotoGP™ team each rider will represent. The fastest rider will choose the team he wants to represent first, followed by second fastest and so on. In the event that the 2018 MotoGP™ eSport Champion becomes one of the twelve 2019 MotoGP™ eSport Riders, then the current MotoGP™ eSport Champion will have first pick amongst the other MotoGP™ eSport Riders 2019.

Not only will the eventual World Champion have the honour of holding that title, but they will also be the recipient of a BMW M135i xDrive Coupe.

There are a host of exciting prizes with the runner-up prize of a new Yamaha YZF-R3, and a third-place prize courtesy of MotoGP™ eSport partner Lenovo™. The stakes are higher than ever as gamers worldwide battle to become the third MotoGP™ eSport World Champion.
