Wet weather will lead to a change of E-Pole procedure

If we encounter rain at the Red Bull Ring, the MotoE™ grid will be set by a 12-minute qualifying session

Round two of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup takes place this weekend at the myWorld Motorrad Grand Prix von Österreich and as a result, it means E-Pole will take place later this afternoon.

However, some adverse weather is forecast to possibly clash with E-Pole at 16:00 (GMT+2) and we could, therefore, see a change to the procedure if the rain arrives in Spielberg.

If we have dry conditions, each MotoE™ rider will have just one flying lap to try and claim pole position but if we have rainfall at the Red Bull Ring then we will see a 12-minute standard qualifying session with all riders out on track at the same time.
