It is official, I will not race with @ktmfactoryracing for the 2020 MotoGP’s season. It was a hard decision to take, I have the chance to do the best work in the world and I want to do it with the smile racing for podiums! As a professionnal, I keep focused for the rest of the 2019 season giving my best and trying to improve my skills!✊???? #readytorace - @motogp - @redbullfrance
The 29-year-old joined KTM towards the end of 2018 after a successful two years in MotoGP™. Zarco tried to adapt his riding style to the KTM RC16 and both he and the team tried relentlessly to mould the number 5 machine to a competitive package for the Frenchman.
Ultimately both Zarco and the team decided not to proceed with their joint project for 2020 and will now focus on giving the maximum for the final eight rounds and remaining months of MotoGP™ in 2019.
