“One of the corners that I struggle a little bit, it’s a corner that I like but where I lose a lot of time, is the last corner from Silverstone, the fast corner before the finish line,” admitted Marquez, speaking about Woodcote in 2017. “There I struggle, I don’t know why because I like the fast corners, but this is one of those corners that if I could change it, I would.”

Struggling at one of the 280 corners the MotoGP™ riders have to tackle during the season won’t faze Marquez too much. Losing out to his competitors on the final corner will though, but the 20-points picked up in the UK means his Championship lead now stands at 78. Not such a weak position heading into Round 13.
