As has become traditional for nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) at the GP Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini, a special one-off helmet design will be worn by ‘The Doctor’ on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
Ahead of FP3, Rossi showed off his 2019 design. One on side, piadina in the shape of Rossi’s classic sun design. The other side features a watermelon, the red, white and green of the Italian flag in the shape of his classic moon design. On the back, Rossi’s two Labradors - Ulysses and Penelope - and his cat – Rossano - sporting VR46 merchandise, with Rossano holding a ‘Forza Vale’ flag.
Another phenomenal helmet design, but can Rossi sport it on the podium come Sunday afternoon?
