An FIM CEV Repsol triple threat heads to Thailand

Garcia, Pizzoli and Zannoni will replace Fenati, Masia and Antonelli this weekend in the Moto3™ class

Three FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship riders will be racing at this weekend’s PTT Thailand Grand Prix as replacements for three injured regular Moto3™ contenders.

Currently eighth in the Moto3™ Junior World Championship, Jose Garcia will again step in for the injured Romano Fenati at VNE Snipers after the Spaniard finished P20 in Aragon. Just four points behind him in the Moto3™ Junior World Championship standings is Davide Pizzoli. The Italian was also at MotorLand Aragon as he replaced injured Niccolo Antonelli, finishing 22nd, but he’ll be replacing Jaume Masia at WWR in Buriram.

Joining fellow CEV competitors in Thailand is Kevin Zannoni. The Italian will be the one replacing Antonelli at the Chang International Circuit having made three previous Moto3™ wildcard appearances.

Keep an eye out for the three replacement riders in Moto3™ FP1 at 09:00 local time (GMT+7) on Friday morning.
