The weather forecast was unfortunately correct for Saturday at the PTT Thailand Grand Prix, as a deluge of rain cause dan 80-minute delays to one of the most significant races so far this season. The Chang International Circuit has provided drama all the way through the weekend, from Marc Marquez’ (Repsol Honda Team) enormous crash on Friday morning to a scintillating duel for supremacy in qualifying. But rain could well be the order of the day on Sunday, with races potentially being influenced by the weather.

From early Sunday morning to mid-day, rain looks set to soak the Chang International Circuit, with up to a 57% chance of precipitation and also strong winds painting a grey picture in Thailand. However, things look like they will be brighter during the afternoon, with sun coming back out to play just in time for Moto2™ and MotoGP™. With the track drying quickly, who knows what will await the field? One thing is for certain: the weather will interfere, one way or another.
