Moto2™ and Moto3™ praying there’s no more rain in Spain

After a two-day test at Jerez ended in a bit of washout, both classes will be hoping for sunny skies in Valencia for another two-day test

Both the Moto2™ and Moto3™ classes head to the Circuit Ricardo Tormo over the weekend ahead of their final track action of 2019. A two-day test in Valencia will bring a hectic year to a close as teams and riders alike pray for the sun to shine down on them after getting drenched at the Circuito de Jerez -Angel Nieto earlier in the week.

In the intermediate class, Xavi Vierge started life with the Petronas Sprinta Racing squad in great style by setting the fastest lap in the wet conditions on Day 1. The Spaniard and new teammate Jake Dixon will be looking at making further progress on Monday and Tuesday, along with a whole host of other 2020 title contenders.

Red Bull Tech 3 KTM were hard at work on their return to the lightweight class with Ayumu Sasaki and Deniz Oncu both lapping in Jerez. Romano Fenati had his first, albeit brief, taste of the 2020 Husqvarna with the Sterilgarda Max Racing Squad too. Work will continue for the trio plus others in Valencia.

Stay tuned to motogp.com on Monday and Tuesday for a full rundown of how the Moto2™ and Moto3™ classes get on.
