Intact GP’s newest MotoE™ recruit Dominique Aegerter is joining the fight against coronavirus by helping to sanitise and disinfect a Spanish care home every day owned his trainer Pol.
The Swiss rider said in an Instagram post that he remained in Spain after the recent MotoE™ test with a view at ramping up his training ahead of the season starting. However, with the MotoE™ season start delayed for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19, he has offered his time to try and defeat the deadly virus.
Aegerter said to his trainer, Pol: "You always help me and now I have to help you". So, he has purchased bleach every week and, after training in a morning, he goes to the care home and disinfects the whole exterior in a bid to try and prevent coronavirus from affecting those more vulnerable than himself inside.
Aegerter is like thousands of more volunteers around the world trying to do their bit in order to defeat this virus and so we can try and get back to normality sooner rather than later. Everyone at MotoGP™ wholeheartedly agrees with him, when he finished his Instagram post by saying: "I encourage everyone to help where possible because together we will beat this virus".
