Crutchlow ruled out of Spanish GP after Warm Up crash

The LCR Honda Castrol rider has been declared unfit due to concussion and neck trauma

After crashing at Turn 8 in morning Warm Up at the Gran Premio Red Bull de España, Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda Castrol) has been ruled out of the opening race of the MotoGP™ season due to suffering concussion and neck trauma.

The British rider, who was set to launch from P6, took a heavy tumble at the end of Warm Up on Sunday morning. Despite getting back to his feet, Crutchlow headed to Jerez hospital to undergo further checks after a trip to the circuit medical centre and upon his return, the number 35 was declared unfit to race.

We hope to see Crutchlow back and raring to go on Friday at the Gran Premio Red Bull de Andalucia.
