Where to watch the Monster Energy Grand Prix of Catalunya

The third of a triple-header of Grand Prix weekends is on Sunday afternoon in Barcelona, and you can find everything you need to know here

Fresh from two stunning weeks of action in Italy where was saw more twists unfold in the story of the 2020 season in Misano, all eyes are now on Barcelona as the MotoGP™ World Championship heads to Catalonia for the next round of racing action at the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya.

Press Conferences will kick-off the weekend’s festivities on Thursday, September 24th at 17:00 (GMT+2). The MotoGP™ riders taking to the media will be  Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT), Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team), Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), Alex Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) and Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar).

We will have to wait until Friday to see some on-track racing, however, where Moto3™ will begin the weekend’s action with FP1 at 09:00, which will then be followed by MotoGP™ at 09:55.

Later in the afternoon will see the Premier class hit the tarmac again for a second practice run at 14:10. The action ends at 15:50 when Moto2™ finish up their second session. 

Saturday sees the battle for pole begin, with Moto3™ starting out the first Q1 of the day at 12:35. The premier class will begin their qualifying runs at 14:10, following their final FP4 tests. Moto2™ racers will then slog it out for prime positions at 15:10. The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup will also have its first race of the weekend at 16:30.

Sunday sees the main action of the weekend, with warm-up sessions getting underway at 09:40 before Moto3™ gives us our first competitive action of the weekend at 12:00 before we turn our attention to Moto2™ at 13.20.

MotoGP™ will then see action underway at 15:00 in what is sure to be a mouthwatering race. Highlights and reactions of the action will immediately follow.
