Red Bull KTM Tech3's Iker Lecuona will return to action at this weekend's Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana after serving a ten-day quarantine period. The Spaniard tested negative for Covid-19 on Tuesday and will be on track for Saturday's FP3 session with his period of self-isolation not ending until Saturday morning.
The rookie was forced to miss the European Grand Prix after his brother tested positive for Covid-19 but will now be able to take part in his home Grand Prix.
Iker Lecuona: "I was really happy to find out it will be possible for me to travel to Valencia this week, even if it will just be on Saturday, it means I can ride my bike and start the race, so this is great news. I can come to take part at my home Grand Prix, therefore, I’m obviously very excited."
