Andalusian GP
Pramac Racing pair Francesco Bagnaia and Jack Miller in the fight for fourth place, but it proved fruitless for either with both riders recording DNFs.
No love lost between old friends! Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP teammates Valentino Rossi and Maverick Viñales competed for second place. While the scales were long tipped in favour of the Italian, he was ultimately beaten by his teammate.
Czech Republic GP

Austrian GP
Following a red flag due to the collision between Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT) and Johann Zarco (Esponsorama Racing), a restart was required. Pol Espargaró (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) took control of proceedings ahead of Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) and the two GSX-RRs.
After ten laps Dovizioso decided to make his move, and he never looked back.
GP of Styria
Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu) and Alex Rins battling it out a week later on the same track for P7.
GP of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera
Valentino Rossi battles the two Suzukis. Unfortunately, the Italian couldn't resist the challenge of Joan Mir; which saw him slip out of the podium places.
GP of Catalonia
Pol Espargaró in sixth place but under pressure from Alex Rins and Danilo Petrucci. A few moments later, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider hit the deck.
