Rins and Arenas train together in Almeria

The two close friends enjoyed some time on track together in the south of Spain

Team Suzuki Ecstar’s Alex Rins and reigning Moto3™ World Champion Albert Arenas (Aspar Team Moto2) have been enjoying some track time together at the Almeria Circuit in the south of Spain.

The two close friends are getting set to embark on another huge campaign of Grand Prix racing, with Arenas making the step up to Moto2™ after his title-winning Moto3™ season in 2020. Training on a Yamaha R1 superbike, Arenas will have been learning some tricks of the trade from three-time MotoGP™ race winner Rins, who was riding Suzuki’s GSXR superbike.

The duo will be in action at the Qatar Tests in March, when Rins gets his first taste of the 2021 Suzuki that he hopes can take him to a first Grand Prix title. After the premier class have completed their test days between the 6-12 of March, Arenas and his Moto2™ and Moto3™ counterparts will be at the Losail International Circuit from the 19-21 of March.
