Pirro tests 2021 Ducati at a damp Jerez

Ducati Lenovo Team’s test rider is in Andalucia this week alongside his Desmosedici MotoGP™ teammates

Ducati Lenovo Team test rider Michele Pirro has been testing the Bologna brand’s 2021 machine as he and his MotoGP™ teammates are at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto for some important track time.

Unfortunately, the weather in Andalucia hasn't been playing ball thus far. However, the Italian posted a couple of things on social media that showed he was on track, sporting Ducati’s GP21. The rain meant that Jack Miller (Ducati Lenovo Team), Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), Johann Zarco (Pramac Racing), Jorge Martin (Pramac Racing), Enea Bastianini (Avintia Esponsorama Racing) and Luca Marini (SKY VR46 Avintia Team) weren’t able to hit the asphalt on Ducati Panigale VRS’ though, so the Ducati MotoGP™ setup will be hoping for better conditions on Thursday.

A familiar face in the form of WorldSBK's Tito Rabat is also there with the Ducati gang, as he gets set to embark on his maiden season racing superbikes. Reigning WorldSBK Champion Jonathan Rea was also there, seen having a chat to Miller.
