COTA hosts Covid-19 vaccine drive-thru clinic

Circuit of the Americas and the wider Austin community helped vaccinate 3,000 people - and are ready to do more

The Circuit of the Americas has helped vaccinate 3,000 CommUnityCare patients and people identified by the participating counties who meet the Phases 1A and 1B criteria, as COTA does their bit to help beat the Covid-19 pandemic.

Working alongside Travis County TX and other partners in the Austin community, the circuit hosted a drive-thru vaccine clinic and will be ready to help vaccinate more people when more vaccine doses become available.

The Grand Prix of the Americas date is still to be confirmed for later in the year, with April’s date having to be postponed due to the ongoing battle with the global pandemic.
