What is the official outright MotoGP™ speed record?

Zarco broke the all-time top speed record in FP4 at the 2021 Qatar GP, with Martin and Miller also joining him inside the top 10

MotoGP™ is getting faster and faster with each passing year as the world’s top engineers and riders aim to eke out any potential advantage they can find on their bikes. The results speak for themselves, with the Top 10 speeds ever recorded on MotoGP™ machines coming in the past five years. Now though, at the 2021 Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar, we've seen six new top speeds enter the fastest of all time! 

Below is the current top 10, all of them outrageous speeds set on Ducatis: 

1. Johann Zarco – 362.4 km/h – FP4, 2021 Qatar GP

2. Jorge Martin – 358.8 km/h – Q1, 2021 Qatar GP

3. Jack Miller – 357.6 km/h – Q2, 2021 Qatar GP

4. Andrea Dovizioso – 356.7 km/h – FP3, 2019 Italian GP

5. Andrea Dovizioso – 356.5 km/h – Race, 2018 Italian GP

6. Andrea Dovizioso – 356.4 km/h – FP2, 2018 Italian GP

7. Jack Miller – 356.4 km/h – FP3, 2021 Qatar GP

8. Jorge Martin – 356.4 km/h – FP4, 2021 Qatar GP

9. Johann Zarco – 356.4 km/h – Q2, 2021 Qatar GP
