Dovizioso and Aprilia set for second test at Mugello

The former Ducati man will be on track on Tuesday and Wednesday with Aprilia and their 2021 RS-GP

Aprilia Racing Team Gresini are set for their second outing with former MotoGP™ star Andrea Dovizioso at Mugello. The pair enjoyed a successful first test at the Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto just under a month ago and now will have two more days with the three-time MotoGP™ World Championship runner-up.

Following the three-day test in Andalucia, the Italian spoke extensively about the ergonomic changes required for him to feel comfortable aboard Aprilia's RS-GP. Both Dovi and the Noale factory will be hoping the changes they've brought will allow the 35-year-old to fully adapt to their premier class machine.

If the two days in Mugello are a success, the rumours surrounding Dovizioso's MotoGP™ return this year will surely grow stronger with a wildcard appearance looking even more likely. However, poor weather on Tuesday and Wednesday could have a serious impact on the two days with rain forecast to disrupt both days of testing.
