Marini to run special Italian tricolour livery at Mugello

The SKY VR46 Avintia rider will be sporting a sensational red, white, green and blue Ducati at this weekend’s Oakley Italian Grand Prix

SKY VR46 Avintia’s Luca Marini will be sporting a special Italian tricolour livery at this weekend’s Gran Premio d'Italia Oakley, as the MotoGP™ rookie gets set for his first home race in the premier class.

The red, white, green and blue decorated Ducati Desmosedici machine will be on track throughout the weekend in the hands of 2020 Moto2™ runner-up Marini at the magnificent Mugello. And we’ll also be seeing SKY Racing Team VR46’s Marco Bezzecchi and Celestino Vietti running the same livery in the Moto2™ class too, with the team always treating us to a special paint job at the Italian GP.

“It will be an important Grand Prix for me,” said Marini ahead of his first date with Mugello on a MotoGP™ bike. “The track is my favourite on the whole calendar and it's always great to race at Mugello. Ducati has always been strong at Mugello, I hope to do well and have fun. It will be a special weekend, I care a lot and I'm preparing to be at my best. I want to enjoy it from start to finish.”
