MotoGP™ heads to England for the first time since 2019, with the iconic Silverstone circuit making a welcome return to the racing calendar. Ahead of what is sure to be a jam-packed Monster Energy Grand Prix of Britain, we’ve brought you a full rundown of the weekend’s events below.
Proceedings kick-off as usual on Thursday evening when the riders take to the stage for the pre-event Press Conference at 17:00 (GMT +1). The first taste of on-track action will be Friday morning when Moto3™ get Free Practice underway at 09:00 (GMT +1), which will be followed by MotoGP™ at 09:55, and then Moto2™ closes out the morning runs. At 13:15, the lightweight class get the FP2 sessions going.
On Saturday morning, riders will have one last chance to get themselves into an automatic Q2 place with the final Free Practice session. Moto3™ once again kick starts a busy day at 09:00 (GMT +1), while FP3 comes to a close at 11:35 after the intermediate class have been on-track. Then comes the turn of qualifying, with riders across all three categories battling it out for pole from 12:35 with Moto3™. The premier class will begin their qualifying at 14:10 after their FP4 session with Moto2™ next at 15:10.
Riders and teams will have one last chance to make some final tweaks during the morning Warm Up session which begin at 09:00 (GMT +1), before it is main event time. Moto3™ sees lights out for their race at 11:20, while there's a slight change to the normal running order, with MotoGP™ coming next at 13:00. As a result, Moto2™ will bring the weekend's action to a close at 14:30.
