McPhee holds 0.041s advantage in Moto3™ Warm Up

The British rider beats Öncü by less than a tenth on Sunday morning; Foggia and Acosta inside the top six

Ahead of a huge day in the Moto3™ title race, John McPhee (Petronas Sprinta Racing) set the quickest time in Warm Up at the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas with a 2:17.068. The British rider edged out Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Tech3) by less than a tenth, third place went the way of Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corse).

Dennis Foggia (Leopard Racing) will be aiming to hunt down World Championship leader Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo) later this morning, 42 points separate the Italian and Spaniard with four races to go. Foggia sets off from P2 on the grid, Acosta has work to do from P15.
