MotoGP™ remains with Pro Plus in Slovenia

Fans in Slovenia to enjoy another five years of MotoGP™, Moto2™, Moto3™ and MotoE™ on Kanal A and VOYO

Dorna Sports is delighted to announce a five-year contract renewal with Slovenia’s leading media company, Pro Plus. The deal ensures fans in the country will continue to enjoy comprehensive coverage of the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship and FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup from 2022 to 2026 inclusive.

Pro Plus are a committed broadcast partner of Dorna Sports, with a new five-year deal to broadcast the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship already confirmed for 2021 to 2025. This extension for MotoGP™ and MotoE™ ensures the company remains the home of motorcycle racing in Slovenia, giving fans across the country incredible, accessible coverage of the biggest motorcycle competitions in the world.

MotoGP™ has a loyal and growing following on Kanal A, which shows all MotoGP™ and Moto2™ races live. Pro Plus is also building an impressive and growing fanbase of viewers on their video-on-demand platform VOYO, where users can watch the Free Practice sessions of all Grand Prix classes, as well as qualifying and Moto3™, Moto2™ and MotoGP™ races. The service also offers FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup and the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship qualifying sessions and races. In addition, viewers on VOYO can switch between multiple camera angles, directing exactly what they’d like to see in a tailor-made experience.

MotoGP™ is among the most viewed Pro Plus sports content. On average, 32% of Pro Plus viewers watched the sport in 2021, rising to 38% amongst male audiences. The most watched race in 2021 was the Grande Prémio 888 de Portugal, which was seen by an incredible 44% of viewers.
