Polesitter Aleix Espargaro continues to dominate in Termas

Is today the day for the Spaniard and Aprilia? Warm Up honours went their way; Quartararo and Rins inside top three

The question on everyone’s lips today at the Gran Premio Michelin® de la República Argentina: is today the day Aleix Espargaro and Aprilia Racing win a MotoGP™ race? Sunday started perfectly for the duo as Espargaro’s 1:38.648 saw him top the 40-minute Warm Up session by 0.244s over Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™), with Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) picking up P3.

Jorge Martin (Pramac Racing) will launch from the middle of the front row later on today, the 2021 Rookie of the Year is looking and sounding confident in Termas de Rio Hondo, he was P4, ahead of Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) in P5 – the Spaniard sets off from there this afternoon in a bid to claim his best result with the Noale factory.

Mooney VR46 Racing Team teammate Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi crashed separately in Warm Up, thankfully both riders were perfectly ok.

Make sure you don’t miss the MotoGP™ race from Argentina at 15:00 local time (GMT-3) today – it’s set up to be an absolute cracker.
