TIME SCHEDULE: Gran Premio d'Italia Oakley

Check out the agenda for the weekend as MotoGP™ returns to the iconic Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello

The MotoGP™ action keeps coming thick and fast in 2022, with the paddock now turning their attentions to Mugello for the first of another pair of back-to-back races. The Gran Premio d’Italia Oakley sees Round 8 of the World Championship head for the rolling hills of Tuscany.

Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™) comes into this one as the Championship leader, but the form of Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) and Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) has ensured he doesn’t have much room for error if he wishes to maintain his advantage. All three will be at Thursday’s Press Conference and they’ll be joined by Ducati Lenovo Team’s Francesco Bagnaia and Jack Miller at 17:00 (GMT +2). Prior to this, MotoE™ will have taken to the stage at 15:00 to preview their weekend ahead of the next round of action.

Friday then sees the start of track action with MotoE™ kicking things off from 08:25 local time. Moto3™ are up at 09:00 before MotoGP™ and Moto2™ take to the track afterwards. After the lunch break, action resumes from 12:35 with the electric class.

On Saturday, the lightweight class get the FP3 sessions going from 09:00, and they last until 11:35. During the break, we’ll see Valentino Rossi’s iconic #46 retired from the sport at 12:20 before qualifying at 12:35, starting with Moto3™ and then followed by MotoGP™ and Moto2™. Once the intermediate class decide their poleman, the opening MotoE™ race of the weekend sees lights out at 16:25.

Warm Ups get Sunday’s action underway from 09:00 before it’s time to go racing. Moto3™ are up at 11:00, Moto2™ at 12:20 and the premier class are the main event at 14:00. Then, if you haven’t yet quenched your thirst, MotoE™ Race 2 finishes off the weekend’s fun at 15:30.
