Quartararo quickest in FP4

The World Championship leader was fastest in the last Free Practice session in Germany

Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ rider Fabio Quartararo has set the pace in MotoGP™ FP4 at the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland. The World Championship leader went as quick as a 1:21.065, with the man who set a new All Time Lap Record in FP3, the Ducati Lenovo Team’s Francesco Bagnaia, classified second in a 1:21.119, while Team Suzuki Ecstar’s Joan Mir made it three makes in the top three with a 1:21.179. As always in FP4, race pace was key, and it looks like the hard Michelin front tyre will be the pick come Sunday afternoon.

Jack Miller took fourth on the second Ducati Lenovo Team courtesy of a 1:21.202, but faces an investigation for potentially crashing under yellow flags when he went down at Turn 13. It was moments earlier at the same corner that Aprilia Racing’s Aleix Espargaro also had a front-end lose, and he would finish 16th in the session. Franco Morbidelli claimed fifth on a 1:21.242 when running with medium compound tyres front and rear on his Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ entry.
