The stars of MotoGP™ are set to trade in their leathers for a pair of boots and shorts for an unforgettable evening of fun ahead of the Gryfyn Grand Prix of San Marino. Plenty of big names will be present too, with a MotoGP™ Legend ready to tog out to show the younger generation what he’s made of.
The lineups for the eagerly anticipated event have been announced, with Jorge Lorenzo, Marco Melandri and Loris Capirossi all temporarily coming out of their sporting retirements for one last ride on the Riviera, albeit on the football pitch. They’ll join some of the biggest names currently in the sport, such as Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing), Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) and Johann Zarco (Pramac Racing).
The game will take place at Montecchio Football Field on Wednesday, August 31st, and is free to attend. If you aren’t able to make it in person, fear not, as MotoGP™’s Facebook, Twitch, Twitter and Youtube channels will stream it with Elliott York and Jack Gorst on commentary duties.
