Honda, Aprilia and KTM set for three-day Jerez private test

All three factories will use the time to dial in their 2023 packages, whilst Dani Pedrosa will also prepare for his MotoGP™ return in April

Three of the five MotoGP™ factories will be at the Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto over the weekend as they look to prepare as best they can for the start of the premier class season in just over three weeks' time at a private test. Honda, Aprilia and KTM will be present from Friday to Sunday, with all three aiming to close the gap to Ducati following their impressive showing at the Sepang Test.

HRC's Stefan Bradl will be on track with the RC213V and will be joined in the box once again by new crew chief Ramon Aurin, plus Technical Manager Ken Kawauchi. For Aprilia, Lorenzo Savadori will be on track with the 2023 RS-GP and may well be putting an updated engine through its paces ahead of the Portimao Test after Aleix Espargaro revealed in Sepang that the Noale factory was set to bring an upgrade for the final pre-season outing.

KTM, meanwhile, will have Dani Pedrosa present as they look to confirm their new engine, their aerodynamic package, plus much more over the three days of extensive testing. Pedrosa will also be able to use the track time to his advantage by preparing for his wildcard appearance at the Spanish Grand Prix in late April.
